Oil & Gas Africa 2017 begins tomorrow in Cape Town

Key industry speakers will join midstream and downstream suppliers at a three-day focus for the energy sector in southern Africa from 11-13 July 2017.

The Oil & Gas conference will open with a keynote address by David van Der Spuy of the Petroleum Agency SA, followed by the Department of Trade and Industry’s Director of Upstream and Midstream Oil Gas, Kisham Pillay.

They will be looking at oil and gas as the region’s new economic frontier, and examining the role of gas in growth of industry across South Africa respectively.

“This is a networking event, a top-level conference and an opportunity to meet suppliers,” said Brad Hook, Commercial Director, dmg Africa. “The conference programme covers key future issues and the exhibitors offer some of the finest solutions in the world,” he added.

Doors open at 10am on 11 July for the Oil & Gas 2017  conference, which will be held at the Cape Town International Conference Centre (CTICC).

Alongside the two-day conference, more than 50 exhibitors from the midstream and downstream supply sector will be at the CTICC for three days.

Oil & Gas Africa 2017 was acquired last year by global exhibition and conference organiser dmg events MEA adding to its worldwide energy portfolio that includes ADIPEC, which attracts 80 000 visitors to the UAE in the world’s largest oil expo outside of North America.
