QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree / BSc Degree in Metallurgy / Chemistry

EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 4 years operational mineral processing / gravity separation experience;
A minimum of 2 years project management experience;
A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Process theory knowledge;
Formal technical knowledge and training skills;
Computer literacy - Intermediate user of MS Office, SCADA, JDE, QlikView, IsoMetrix and Achiever;
Project management skills;
Diagnostic skills;
Management knowledge and skills;
Staturtory knowledge;
Reporting skills;
SHERQ knowledge;
Technical skills.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Valid Code 08 Driver's License
Medically fit for duty
Duties and Responsibilities:
• To effectively plan, organize and control Metallurgical projects to ensure increase in productivity and quality of products at Khumani Iron Ore Mine, which includes:
o SHERQ and compliance;
o Research and development;
o Project Management;
o Reporting;
o Project budget;
o continuous improvement / new technology;
o Staff supervision.
