Bateman Australia has offices in Brisbane and Perth and is actively pursuing work within Australia, South East Asia, North America and Africa, with a diversified project and opportunities list covering commodities such as coal, uranium, nickel, gold and copper. Bateman Australia provides a differentiated product which capitalises on the Bateman Engineering's Group's three core strengths of process engineering, technology and equipment supply and project execution.

Bateman Australia is currently working on projects in Australia, Laos, Mongolia, Vietnam, Democratic Republic of Congo, Zambia, Egypt, United States of America and Mexico.

Within Bateman Australia a number of technical centres of excellence have been established involving a core group of highly specialised process engineers supported by other technical disciplines for coal and copper with gold, uranium and nickel to be established shortly.

About Us
We are differentiated by our strong process and technology expertise, our ability to develop engineered solutions to difficult process problems and we are prepared to back those solutions with process guarantees. We are specialists in the provision of services to the minerals and metals sectors of the resource industry ranging from pre-feasibility studies through to engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) and lump-sum turnkey (LSTK) services for multi-million dollar facilities.

We have four offices in Australia with two each in Brisbane and Perth and our management team is spread across our offices with the managing director Peter Strimaitis based in Brisbane. All our offices are able to handle multi-discipline engineering projects and studies.

Bateman Australia has recently acquired the Perth based engineering company Metplant Engineering Services. Metplant Engineering provides services to the mining industry specialising in mineral processing, process control and materials handling. The Metplant team has been providing a quality service, both within Australia and internationally, since 1987, with projects in Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Tanzania, Mongolia, the Kyrgyz Republic and Kazakhstan. Metplant's recent track record in nickel and gold will help bolster Bateman Australia's position in these commodities.
