The new indicating and adjustment instrument from VEGA, one of the leaders in level and pressure sensor design and manufacture, works without auxiliary power supply and is used for remote measured value indication and adjustment.
The Vegadis 62 can be connected anywhere to the 4 ... 20 mA signal line and measures the current in the measurement loop. Parameter adjustment of a sensor, e.g. a Vegawell 52 HART, is carried out via HART communication. During parameter adjustment, the Vegadis 62 works as a secondary master with respect to the sensor and allows adjustment of its zero, span and damping functions. The integrated indicating and adjustment module is removable.
Indication for HART multidrop systems.
Vegadis 62 can also be implemented as an indicating instrument for a bus participant in a HART multidrop system. For this purpose, the instrument is connected to the bus and the address of the participant set in Vegadis 62. Vegadis 62 reads out the measured values with the corresponding measuring unit and displays them.
Adjustment device for old and previously installed instruments.
Vegadis 62 can be used anytime as a replacement for Vegadis 12, e.g. for all HART-compatible pressure transmitters Vegawell 72, D86, D84 and Vegabar 74 and 75 that were previously adjusted with a Vegadis 12.
Indicating and adjustment instrument for other makes of instruments.
Vegadis 62 also works as an indicating instrument in 4 ... 20 mA measurement loops as well as a HART adjustment device for the functions zero, span and damping for instruments from other manufacturers.
